Weather can be so unpredictable when you live in Mn. We had to reschedule our session quite a few times because of how cold it has been. Luckily, the weather warmed up and we were able to get some really great shots. I have known Emma and her family for years. My husband grew up with Emma’s brothers so I consider them family. I was so ecstatic to take Emma’s photos of her and Prince. He’s an upright guy, loves the Lord, and has great a sense of humor and of course loves Emma deeply. Emma is an absolute beast when it comes to fitness and she too is a hilarious. It’s a match made in heaven! Can’t wait to celebrate these two on their wedding day!
Sam + Megan
Sam and Megan have a love they can’t contain! In fact, Megan wishes she could have eloped with Sam, because she is so ready to be married to the love of her life. Patience is a hard trait when you’re head over heels for someone. These two absolutely love being outdoors. They recently ran a 50k trail race tother. Those that run together, stay together :)
Brad + Ainslee
I had an absolute blast with these sweet humans. Brad and Ainslee were actually my first clients for an engagement session and when Ainslee had mentioned she wanted her and Brad’s dogs in the photos, I was thrilled. What I adore the most with these two is the fiery passion they have for each other. Brad truly loves Ainslee and it shows!
Alex + Mika
When Mika had messaged me about taking her engagement photos, I was soo excited but nervous about the weather. One thing about living in the cold tundra of Minnesota is the weather. It was soo cold outside and not to mention it snowed the evening before and added an extra 5 inches of snow. Luckily Alex being a fisherman and Mika the fierce fisherwoman, tackled the shoot despite the frigid temps. These two shared such a genuine connection that you can witness in just one touch, and that’s what I tried to capture in these photos.
Davis + Ashley
I met Ashley in college about 6 years ago. As time passed our friendship grew pretty close. I consider Ashley one of my closest friends and still is. In fact, I’m a bridesmaid in her wedding! I was so genuinely happy for her when she told me she met this guy Davis at her work. Davis is truly a gentleman. Opens the door for you, walks you to the car kind of guy. Chivalry does exist! I told Ash that I just had to take her engagement photos and she gladly accepted. There session was an adventure. Strolling through the beach at Bemidji State Park, popping champagne. Then heading straight to Sparkling Waters an upscale restaurant for some fancy photos. Cheers to Davis and Ashley!
James + Stephanie
Where do I begin with these two?! Steph has been my best friend for over 5 years now and I am so grateful for her and our rich fruitful friendship. James and Steph have a deep love for each other, and Steph wanted to have a fun but romantic couples shoot with her husband James. I love these two and their love for the Lord. James is a man after God’s own heart. He treats Steph with so much gentleness and respect. And he loves her unconditionally. Not to mention, He’s a pretty sick drummer in this Christian Rock Band. Steph is a diamond in the rough. She’s been my sidekick through all things thick and thin. I couldn’t ask for a better friend. I love these two and everything they stand for. Waterfront session with these two was a blast! It was definitely chilly, but the air was crisp and made for a great shoot.
Adam + Becca
Adam and Becca killed every second of their shoot. They share such a sweet love, that really came to life in front of the camera! They were both so sweet, laid back, and honestly down for whatever!
